Scriptorium is a notepad and code editor for Windows: simple as Notepad, powerful as VS Code. Extensions add only what you need: color themes, icons, languages, tools.
Extensions are also available inside the app, in the “Extensions” tab of the left bar (Ctrl+Shift+X). This page lets you browse and download them manually. How to install them?
Kotlin and Jetpack Compose snippets (Composable, state, LazyColumn), Room, coroutines, Activity, Log, plus Android XML (manifest, layouts, resources). .kts files are recognized as Kotlin.
Common CSS snippets: flex, grid, media queries, variables, animations, shadows, truncated text… For CSS, SCSS and Less.
Flutter snippets: StatelessWidget, StatefulWidget, Scaffold, ListView.builder, FutureBuilder, navigation, text fields, setState.
Emmet abbreviations (ul>li*3, div.card>h2{Title}…, “!” for a full page), HTML snippets and a web page template (HTML + CSS + JS).
Java snippets: main, classes, interfaces, records, enums, loops, streams, collections.
Lua snippets: functions, loops, tables, metatable classes, pcall, require.
PHP snippets: strict_types header, classes, PDO, sessions, JSON, redirects, template-syntax loops, escaping. HTML abbreviations in PHP files.
Python snippets: functions, classes, dataclass, with open, comprehensions, f-strings, argparse, async, JSON read/write. Script template.
Swift and SwiftUI snippets (View, State, VStack, List, NavigationLink), protocols, async, Codable, with plist, storyboard and xib files recognized. Xcode itself only runs on Mac.
